Symptoms:
Is there a way to skip validation of EDI 856, CTT segment for a specific trading partner?
Diagnosis:
Hierarchical documents can have several detail loops/lines. To which details are to be summed up on the CTT segment is controlled via the Format Properties. This set up has to be checked to confirm that there is a real need to bypass the checking.
Prescription: [click on File>Format Properties]: Since we know the severity of the message, we could increase the "Maximum translation error severity", so that the error will pass (be ignored), This move might cause a problem because it will ignore the other errors of the same severity.
[click on Change Message Severity]: But if we decrease the severity of the specific error message, the by passing (ignoring) will only be for that message.
