The Challenge: When the Define Occurrence Conditions feature is grayed out because it is not allowed and/or is not working, here is the work around (to avoid or delaying the upgrade).

The Solution:

a. Define a numeric work field that would contain the occurrence counter (OCNT).

b. Define conditions on this field - OCNT.

c. On a segment prior to the Loop Start, initialize OCNT to zero.

d. For every occurrence, add 1 to OCNT.

e. Map based on the conditions in set in b. when needed.
