Setting Up Scripted FTP

To and From Your Own iSeries via the IFS

a. Create a network based on the SF network: MainMenu> CommunicationsMenu> IntalledNetworks> [F6]

b. Setup Network Parameters: MainMenu> CommunicationsMenu> NetworkSelectionMenu> Pick the newly created network> CommunicationsParametersMenu> NetworkConfiguration

c. Most commonly used scripted FTP scripts a RCV-Receive(Local Pull) and SND-Send (Local Push): MainMenu> CommunicationsMenu> NetworkSelectionMenu> Pick the newly created network> CommunicationsParametersMenu> CommunicationsScripts

d. Copy and/or modify the scripts on the change directory (CD) command.

NOTE: Make sure that the Trading Partner Relationship (TPR) points the network you have just setup. Adjust the envelopes to match the TPR as needed (step c.2).
