Why Does it Run All the Time, What is it?

The Explanation:

1. This program is called the XML Integration Server API.

2. By default this is initiated by the first XML transaction you RECEIVE and will remain in the background (consumes very little resources when idle) until it is ENDED or the subsystem it is in is restarted or after an IPL.

3. This can also be configured by going to the XML Integration Server Menu by:

From Main Menu > Translation Menu > XML Integration Server Menu
