The Challenge: In the attempt to control the CTT 1.0 element in an 856 document, we setup a work field that would count the number of times this segment is generated and to be mapped later in CTT 1.0. And got this message.
The Solution: CTT 1.0 can be mapped from a field. It is populated and controlled automatically by the software. The 856 by default, counts the HL segments for CTT 1.0 . To solve this, we will need to override the default by going to the map via the mapper; [File] [Format Properties] and the Control Totals Tab. Select Segment button and pick the segment to override to.
