An ORGANIZATION is a subset of the software system and its components. When you access a specific organization, the software filters the library so you can view and work with the data for that organization only.
The following are practical uses of Organization:
Configure a filtered working environment for different divisions within your company or for specific trading partners. This environment includes the following components:
user file definitions
trading partner (address book)
envelope maps
trading partner relationships
translation formats
distribution lists
Transaction Center
Limit user access to the software components for an entire organization or within the organization
